The polytunnel
28 juli 2019 - Strandhill, Ierland
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, me and Christ have been busy making a large polytunnel. Ireland has a cold climate, which causes many plants and crops to not grow well. Many people living in the countryside have a polytunnel in order to make these plants and crops grow nonetheless. The kind of jobs that had to be done regarding the polytunnel were for instance cutting pipes with a grinding wheel, mixing concrete and filling holes in the ground with concrete. The tunnel is still far from finished, but me and Christ did get a part of it done in these three days. Not much else happened in these three days. I did go to a jazz evening in a café in Sligo on Wednesday together with Christ and David, a member of Christ’s band. Jazz isn’t my favourite music genre, but it was still nice to have experienced it once.
